The Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network in Mozambique (SBNMOZ), in partnership with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) and the Institute for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (IPEME), is launching the 4th edition of Nutrideal, an initiative focused on strengthening food system businesses capacity, to contribute to improve the nutrition of the Mozambicans. The NutriDeal consists of 3 components:
The 4th edition of the NutriDeal seeks innovative solutions that contribute to increasing the supply of safe and nutritious food in the communities most vulnerable to chronic malnutrition, taking into account the purchasing power and desire of these communities. The NutriDeal aims to empower and reach out to MSMEs in Mozambique's food-for-nutrition systems (food production, processing, distribution, and marketing sectors), with an emphasis on businesses led by women and young people. MSMEs from all over the country are invited to register to take part in the Bootcamp. At the end of the training process, these companies will be invited to present their business concept / model in a pitch session before a panel that will select the 3 best approaches, which will be entitled to a prize.
